On holding the First “Chabukiani-Balanchine...” International Festival of Ballet Art in the city of Tbilisi

To ensure development and popularization of ballet art:

1. To found in Georgia an International Festival named “Chabukiani-Balanchine...”
2. To hold the First International Festival from June 20 to 24, 2001, in Tbilisi at Paliashvili State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
3. To approve the Provision on the First “Chabukiani-Balanchine...” International Ballet Art Festival (Appendix 1).
4. To approve the list of the Jury members (Appendix 2).
5. To approve the budget of the First “Chabukiani-Balanchine...” International Ballet Art Festival (Appendix 3).
6. To approve the organizing committee of the Festival (Appendix 4).
7. To take into consideration that the Festival will be budgeted by sponsors and the Tbilisi Ballet Art State School named after V. Chabukiani.
8. The education department of the Georgian Ministry of Culture (L. Buadze) and the Chabukiani Ballet Art School (T. Vashakidze) will be responsible for holding the above-said event at a high level.
